Submission Method
Please fill out the application form below and send it to us. There is no limit to the number of application per person.

Thank you for your applications we received from all over the world. The final results will be announced on this website at a later date.

Corporate Profile / Your Story: Please tell us about yourself and your commitment to fight global warming. (This will not be considered in the judging process.)
Objective of Idea: Please keep this as concise as possible.
Background Issues / Challenges: Provide a brief summary of social problems and other background issues as they relate to your idea.
Summary of Idea: Briefly discuss the main points of your idea, in a manner that allows the reader to grasp its concept based on your outline alone. Mention, for example, who the idea targets, what measures will be taken and how they should be carried out, what CO2 reduction target you hope to meet; and thus what kind of change you hope to bring about.
Sample Projects & Approaches etc.: Explain how your idea can be put into practice by providing a provisional estimation of CO2 reduction figures in addition to calculations used to reach your estimates. If you have data to support your estimation, please provide their sources as well.

Providing Personal Information and the Purpose of its Use
You are asked to provide personal information (name, telephone number, address etc.) when you enter this contest (organized by Eco Business Creation Association). An application form without a name will not be accepted. Personal information provided will be used when inquiring about your idea during the judging process, informing participants of results, and for awarding prizes at Eco-Products 2007. Personal information will not be used for other purposes. Your personal information will be kept safely under the supervision of the "Cool the Earth" Idea Contest Office (part of Eco Business Creation Association).
Your personal information will be shared only with cooperating organizations and with entities with which the contest has business outsourcing agreements listed below, and these organizations and entities will only use the personal information for the purposes mentioned earlier.

Use of Submitted Ideas
The ideas provided may be used to offer business/policy suggestions for companies and/or local governments after approval is received from applicants.
Some of the ideas which pass the first screening will be published on our website. (Personal information will not be published.) If there are inquiries from companies or local governments, we will inform the applicant and encourage the two parties to contact each other.
Further information
Any problems arising between the organizer and the applicants will be handled in accordance with Japanese laws.
